I posted about a year ago hoping to find the fix to the issues plaguing the 3235 movement. My post at the time was to find a reason and solution to the issue. While there were many interesting replies, no long term fix was ever found. That was the case until now. Just curious if the 32XX movement problems have extended to the no-date variant, caliber 3230. Any submariner or OP owners (new releases of 2020) out there with the same movement problem as the 3235?? Specifically, losing time or discovering low amplitude on the movement. Recently, the real bombshell was dropped. This is actually pretty normal behavior as a movement on a brand new watch "settles in" after a while. Sometimes the accuracy improves, sometimes not. But your Sub appears to still be in spec.
There's a documented problem with MANY of the 32xx movements. And there are many more that will go on the fritz. Just because nobody has thrown them on a Timegrapher yet to see if the amplitude is low at 24 hours after full wind . But the only problem is is that Rolex appears to ride off of hype and valuation instead of their engineering. I wish they had a more tool-watch identity still.
