I tried the SM300 and it wore way too big on my 6.5 inch wrist, with long lug to lug height. PO 39.5 wears far better with short lug to lug height. It is thicker but by less than 1mm . I have the blue quartz Bond 2221.80 and it fits fine on my 6:5 inch wrist. In fact 41-42mm is my favorite size for watches. The difference in same size wrists comes in the shape . The hands look stumpy and a bit silly. The dial on the 41mm is only really equivalent to that on a non diver 35mm. Unless you have tiny wrists, like smaller than 6.5" I would strongly recommend the full size model, it is very slim and wears very well. They feel both slimmer and less angular than many other similar sized diver watches.
The new watch comes with only the logo and the historical “Seamaster 300” lettering on the dial; the second hand ends in a luminous “lolipop” dot instead of an arrow, a feature that was already used for the highly popular “Spectre” limited edition from 2015 (Ref. 233.32.41.21.01.001); and the numerical hour markers 3, 6, 9 and 12 .
