The Large college bag is black with black hardware and was bought in September, the Medium college bag is in the color Dark Red with the aged silver hardware delivered today (24th Nov), both bags purchased directly from the YSL website. I am looking to purchase a YSL bag (Sunset or College). I am leaning toward the Sunset as it looks a bit more dressy and I would want this bag to take me from day to night events (although I wouldn't use it as an everyday bag). Has anyone here used their College bag and an evening bag? Eg; out to dinner, weddings ect. However based on previous quality issues thread I am very concerned about the wear and tear of the gold hardware. Can anyone who had this bag for a while tell me how the silver or gold hard held up with time (pictures would be great too)?
